Watching this we are looking essentially like the across the pond version of England with how boring it’s getting just knocking the ball around and not taking risks.
A team with this type of player talent shouldn’t be playing this style/tactics

I’d like to see us keep the pedal to the metal. Would do a lot more for us to get some positive momentum than to sit back on lead and invite pressure on some dumb attempt to save energy

The goalie was expecting the defender to keep pushing Balogun to the end line, I think that’s why he was paying the near post. Balogun noticed and made a nice shot.

I wanted to see him in the lineup. Hopefully that gave him some confidence because he was slow to react on a couple occasions before that goal and he’ll get more opportunities in the second half
