If any of these defenders have to play real minutes, it's going to be white knuckle to the whistle.

Honestly, I'm already here with the 1s even when we've flat out played great. This cup team feels different but I'm just paranoid with USMNT.

They are playing real physical, but that being said, there were some mental breakdowns that we did not see in the first two games. Turks are challenging EVERYTHING after the US goal.

All I’ve been hearing is how deep this team is. I don’t see it.
that definitely wouldn’t have come from anyone that knows ball

From the get go when the squad was announced depth was one of the biggest issues. We knew we couldnt afford injuries or red cards as evidenced so far tonight

Some of their passes to nowhere just make you scratch your head. Like they're terrified of touching the ball and just want to get it away from them ASAP.

Let's not look over the fact that shitty officiating that has been pretty one-sided against you will make you play less aggressive and more hesitant to take some risks, giving the other team more freedom to dictate the game, making you reactive instead of proactive.

Reactive play rarely bests proactive play.

Every time our boys seemed to start being proactive, they would get halted by the officiating.

Someone said amoeba and I can’t argue that, our shape was terrible. Weston seems more advanced at times but Gio isn’t tracking back enough if he’s supposed to be part of a defensive two with Berhalter.

I mean to a degree, but not entirely. Cohesion is the least of our problems right now.

Who on the field is actually trying to score though. We keep trying to cross it in and no one is there
