Yeah, but as the commentators said, if that challenge is a yard closer to goal it's probably not a red because it's have been a pen.
But for sure, outside of the box=red

I think they’re just being uppity about it because he went down in a kinda theatrical manner but definitely a red regardless.
I don’t get the complaining about the pen though, that one seemed as cut and dry as they come.

Just finished watching the match (somehow avoided spoilers and scoreboards through the day). Agree with most of the thoughts in this thread. I am most pleased by Keita. Van Dijk has been superb, and Alisson looks good. Only complaint is that with the chances we created, should've had more goals - finishing was not good.

Lot of good things today, and we didn't even play all that well with the ball. And we also gave up several chances that could have been worse if Townsend could score.
Allison is what you want - nice save on the free kick.
VVD and Gomez were great - both so good in space for the most part, against a team that has 2-3 guys who are good in space.
Keita was outstanding again.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - up until the red, he was outstanding on defense and had a few good moments up the field. No way he's at Palace in 2 years.

Regarding Clyne, I think it’s just man management. Looks like Klopp will rotate full backs on the bench.

Anyone noticed that basically every single buy we've made has been LEGIT. I'm probably missing a few but Klopp's hit rate has been fantastic.
Kind of unreal honestly and knock on wood for it to continue.

Yeah our talent assessment has drastically improved for sure... I think it helps that once Klopp identifies a guy he wants he's going all in to get him, and will wait as long as it takes to get him

I don’t want to get carried away here...but I think we’ve got the best defense in the league. Since adding VVD, most clean sheets and fewest goals conceded, and now we have a world class keeper.

it's not terrible. i tried, not very hard, to come up with a song for Mane to the tune of Phil Collins' Sussudio, but gave up. still can't believe nobody has done it yet, maybe i'll try again

If not the best, it's certainly top 3 imo...
One of the podcasts I listened to this week was talking about it and the other beautiful thing is none of our back 5 are old at all... So conceivably they could play together and play like this for several years
