Same team and subs from last week it looks like
quote:

Liverpool team: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Substitutes: Mignolet, Henderson, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Shaqiri, Matip.

So this is what depth feels like? Wanting to see people start but knowing that the team we go with is still legit cause they’ve been on fire the past 2 weeks?

Easing him into the team and system I’d bet

Not to mention, we’ve had 2 clean sheets to start so it’s not like there’s a lot that needs to be fixed

But to not be in the 18? I understand easing him in, but this would be a good game for him to be eased into.

Didn’t he pick up a knock right before the season started?

I don’t disagree with you but that’s still a strong bench. Not like he’s being left off for someone not usually in the team. Ox kind of went through similar last year but we had less options so at least he made the bench

Once our fixture list picks up he’ll get his chances and then we’ll start to see how things play out

Yes, but he was on the bench for at least the West Ham match.

Ox and Robbo were both brought along slowly, though I cant recall if they were consistently left out of the 18... I do find it odd, but there's got to be a reason for it... I think we'll see him soon enough..

He is treating him like Ox last year. Our system for both of those players coming in was Greek. Not to mention Fabhino will be playing a position that exposes our back if he mis steps.

Robertson definitely was. Ox made the bench a lot but we also didn’t have like any backup for our front 3 when he was making the bench either

I actually just read something where he says its bringing him along slowly and the bench depth is strong enough to where he isn't needed, regardless off who the opponent is...

Trent hasn’t looked too hot on the ball lately.

Really thought Bobby finally had his first goal of the season, but I’ll take the couple of assist he has so far.

Sadio’s passing game is a wreck today

Not having a third midfielder more aggressive pushing forward dribbling (Ox) has made us a little less chaotic for back lines but the midfield trio we have now is so disciplined and all over the other team with the counter press they haven’t had any chance to attack us yet

Naby can definitely fill that role... but it looks like we're comfortable having all the possession and just trying to pick the lock...

A lot of the passing has been slightly off today...

Salah is pretty much a CF this season with Bobby and Sadio in the midfield...
