Agreed, centennial kits were fantastic. We could go exactly those with the new crest and it would be perfect.

Outside of Waldos, these are the best IMO.

I mean they have to do that else you wouldn't be able to read the name or number..
Did it with the waldos in 2012/13 too. I can guarantee that there will be a white spot on the front for the number as well.

It also looks way better when you have straight lines that all end at the same point. The wavy lines make the box look much more out of place. Obviously, i won't look at weird with names and numbers, but it still doesn't look at crisp as the Waldos.

There are others. But yeah, I guess they don't look great. I wouldn't be opposed to us doing vertical red and white stripes with navy shorts, sort of like the waldos.
