Why is it so hard to have a clock that we all can see when it is stopped? Why beg for corruption?

And yet you're going to get a number of traditionists coming on here telling you that keeping a simple clock on screen that accumulates the stoppage time throughout a half is unnecessary and detrimental to the game.

This has been the most fair officiating that the USMNT has gotten in years.

The same people bitching right fricking now about FIFA ... will also come unglued at the suggestion of something as simple as a fricking clock that everyone can see.... can be stopped, started, etc.

Make fun of it all you want, but stuff like stoppage time makes it difficult to get bandwagoners and casual fans to enjoy soccer more.

In trying to explain why only 1 minute to my coworkers and it's tough to answer why there can't be a real clock.
