It was honestly refreshing to see a manager stay this long at a club in the premier league.

Even if he did go from every loving him when he first got there to everyone thinking he bitches like Jose at the end

FSG should be on the phone with Xabi right now if I was them.

I hate Jan 26 man. It’s the day Kobe died and now this. So abrupt. The entire staff is leaving too.

Hopefully we already have Xabi lined up.

This was shocking news to wake up to, but it was always going to eventually happen...

I always assumed we'd miss the window to get Xabi Alonso... it is the obvious choice.

That was somewhat expected... He was always a short term solution and I was kinda surprised he made it past the summer...

Farewell Jurgen. Take your spot next to Bobby Cox and Nick Saban on my personal coaching Mount Rushmore. Hope the boys can send you out on top

Does he take time off or move on to next project? Club or country?

I really like Klopp but thank God. Arsenal havent fared well against his teams.

Pretty sure hes beat Arsenal more than all the other top English clubs.

Yeah, happy to see him go.

As a Spurs fan I always hate when we play them, you can usually plan for a loss but a draw is a good result.

Pep possibly leaving as well, so the next few years will be pretty interesting for sure.

Happy for him. Go out on his own terms and with the club in great standing. This day was gonna come sooner or later but it definitely stings. Xabi or De Zerbi for me have to be first choice.

I bet he would be staying if Liverpool had more ambitious owners.

I don’t get why his assistants are leaving to? I thought the pep ljinders guy would be a shoe in to replace him?

Watched his video. Was incredibly refreshing how honest and candid he was about everything. I guess I’ve gotten so used to half answers and coach speak that to hear somebody in his position just lay it all out there was great.

A lot of managers have their staff who go everywhere with them and they come as a package. Not sure what Klopp has done historically, but it’s not out of the norm.
Poch does this. His guys have been with him for years.

Interesting, he swears he'll never coach another team in England ever. We'll see if that holds up.

Also said he won't be coaching club or country next season.
