If you're still a Klinsmann supporter, you may have Stockholm Syndrome

Beating Germany in a friendly they don't give a frick about doesn't matter guys. Losing to Guatemala for the first time since Reagan was president matters. WCQ and the Gold Cup matter.
His ego completely kills any chance he has of being successful. No tactical awareness and too much pride to accurately self-reflect.
What a fricking disaster. I hardly even watch these games anymore.

Well, I'll be going into a powder keg in Columbus on Tuesday. Should be really interesting.

There's no excuse. No amount of drinking could possibly cleanse my mind of what I sat and watched last night.
I couldn't stomach the entire match.

But Klinsmann is putting in a basement window for me at the new house

Honestly surprised to wake up and find out he hasn't been fired yet

Rant: he lost this team during/right after the WC. Maybe they were very motivated going in and certainly played that way. But maybe they left Brazil realizing the roster selection to go there was extremely flawed and there were several players left at home that could have helped the cause tremendously especially after the injuries we incurred.
We have lost competitive matches to Jamaica and Guatemala within the last year. We look worse than we ever have. WTF are we waiting for? There is no room for error this round. A bad result Tuesday and we are in dire straits.

Oh and he blamed two goals last night on individual errors. Ok fine. Let's spot you that. You still got fricking shut out at Guatemala. This following a shut out at T&T

Klinsmann had a superb managerial record up until the 2014 World Cup and then suddenly it all fell apart. What the hell happened to this team? Curse of Landon Donovan?

If we fired Jurgen today, who could turn this around best in this cycle?
Jurgen isn't turning this around.

I am not convinced we will fix this in this cycle. However, we need a new manager immediately to get us on an upward trend.

Yeah. And at this point, that's fine

I haven't watched a US game in over a year. Refuse to until Klinsmann is fired.

It wouldn't take much to get better than Klinsmann now.

Any manager who the players will actually want to play for would upgrade the team at this point. Start there.

Little strong. Would call the World Cup run superb, though
But it's hard to manage an international team for a long time. shite becomes stale, and you run out of things to change

Honestly, my first call would be to Bruce to bail us out.

For us to regress as much as we have in CONCACAF alone is just abhorrent.
I honestly thought that after 2014, CONCACAF would be a cakewalk. I thought we'd start to really ascend among the world rankings, but the exact opposite of all that has happened, and Klinsmann alone is to blame. There is no strategy that works, and there are no new players that I'm really excited about going forward.
I'm done defending him. He's a terrible manager whose own hubris has us in jeopardy of even making the Hex. Inexcusable.
