..Arsenal are so unlikeable it has many people actively rooting for Manchester City (and anyone but Arsenal for the UCL).

Average Gooner “lifer” who suddenly discovered them circa 2009-2014.

What’s the rub here? That guy was probably 15 in 2009, and if he suffered through the banter years he’s certainly not a bandwagon fan.

Yeah, bandwagon fans are annoying but city also has their share and have been making a mockery of the PL rules for the past decade, at the expense of every other team, while their owners fund a civil war in Sudan. Supporting their continued dominance is certainly a choice.

I know this is just a fun thread, but Americans policing EPL fandom is just silly. Most of this board are fans of Louisiana teams. We have enough depressing shite to deal with there. Why would we purposely pick a little brother like Tottenham to root for when it's not needed.

I got hooked on Arsenal in 2010 (like your meme) spring break when some guys in our house were watching them in the champions league. It certainly hasn't been sunshine and rainbows since then.

I have never been able to stick to a team. Guess I don't need to be a fan of any one team, but I feel it'd make things more fun.

But when I'm watching a team I've 'committed' to being a fan of, and they lose, it's just not the same as when the Gamecocks lose. That feeling I have cannot be recreated for a club thousands of miles away no matter how much I watch. At least that is how I see it right now, but maybe since I haven't stuck it out long enough with any 1 club that bond just hasn't ever been created.

But for me personally, no Big/Sky 6.
