It looks like he will. He says his first opportunity will be in a competitive tournament in this interview just posted.

I believe this is known as the “win-win-win” negotiating strategy.
He wins, we win, soccer wins!

Damn that's like the 2nd big commitment we've had without a coach

I bet the players are the ones doing the actual recruiting.

He is friends with Weah also. Turner also was involved.

What is his rumored club future going into the transfer window? Watching his highlights now, he has explosive speed.

Hopefully if he’s sold there is a buy back option.

We needed this to wash away the gregggg-Reyna sins, reset, and a new manager would help galvanize it all.

His first chance to suit up will be against Mexico.

I think Gregg deserves some credit for making it fun to play on the national team again (unless your parents are trying to cancel him), and I think the fans on social media play a part as well.

But, really, at the end of the day, recruiting comes down to a player deciding what's the easiest path to play in a World Cup.

Musah can say he felt American all he wants, he'd hardly been to the country, but at most for England would be playing in the U-20 World Cup right now, not starting in the 2022 World Cup last November like he did for us.

Araujo was part of a USMNT 4th of July campaign where he was one of the players in the video saying how proud he is to be an American. Unfortunately, being American doesn't help you skip the logjam at right back, so he chose Mexico.

Flo picked us because we give him the best chance to play in a World Cup. There's no guarantee he will play a minute for England this entire 2026 cycle, so he chose a country where he immediately becomes the most talented 9 in the depth chart.

I think he can be good, but I don't think he's a better RB than Dest (when he gives a shite) and Scally. I was bummed when we lost him, but wasn't too surprised.

I’m trying to think of who the biggest losses for the USMNT have been, in the battle with Mexico.

I wasn’t coming up with too much: Efrain Alvarez, Araujo, Jonathan Gonzales (a brighter star 3-4 year ago), and David Ochoa.

I might be missing couple of names but no clear starters or top subs.

he doesnt want to play behind jesus and Eddie, Arsenal can prob get 30 million for him. Somewhere around there. I have no idea who would buy him though. Reims def doesnt have the money.

Looking at various sites i see Leipzig, marseille and ac milan thrown around.
