Edu was terrible.

The back line was fantastic.

Our passing still sucks.

Overall happy with the result.

Yall are nuts. DMB played well considering the circumstances. Can't believe yall rode his arse. Finns was giving him mad props. He's not ideal, but it'll work.

How does Klejstan not get a shot with how shitty Edu was?

Our 2nd point ever in Mexico, while they are in a golden era and on a night we can barely field 11.
Would we have gotten that point with a more offensively capable guy in Edu's place? Maybe, but I'll take what we got from him and not bash him due to his not-surprising ball handling problems.

I liked what DMB brought to the defense. Even if he wasn't in position, he used his speed and quickness to make a play on the ball.

I was very impressed with how well Besler played as well.

Overall pretty happy with the game in Azteca.

overall i felt like he did alright. his couple mistakes could have been disasters though, so they stand out.

DMB...Besler

I thought we were screwed after both of those guys got early yellows on defense, but they held up nicely. I was also surprised Jurgy didn't take off DMB with the last sub since he was clearly hobbling although he may not have had another defensive option that he liked.

DMB was a warrior. All you can ask for with a guy playing out of position like that. Mad props to him for his effort all night.

Besler stepped up big. Omar was a man.

I just hope Beasley earned future call-ups. 30 years old or not, the guy is still a good winger and we need that.

This may be the fourth cycle for the Donovan/Beasley/Cherundolo class but they are still some of the best players in the pool. Would love to see us put out WC XI like this:
