Their wage bill is the highest by a large margin. Almost $280 million more than Arsenal.
In fact if the difference between the two clubs was a random club’s wage bill it would be the 11th highest in the world.
Tottenham and Chelsea stand out as particularly poor for what they’ve accomplished with their wage bills the past few years. Man U is a special mention. Liverpool is very down but it’s been a bad year by their recent standards. Same for Madrid (and Barca to an extent).

That's the one from 23-24 season.
24-25 is this:
They've come down, but top 3 in the world

Yeah I hadn't seen the updated one. But either way they aren't signing some of these players "cheap".

Lots of folks like to reference capology for salaries, the ones in those charts are the ones the clubs submit to UEFA every year. Deloitte puts out a "Football Money" report based on it
The big thing PL clubs will have to comply with going forward is SCR (UEFA started this year). In the PL it's 85% of revenue can go to squad costs, but a team competing in European comps have to hit the 70% mark. Will be interesting to see how the PL teams not playing in Europe utilize it. PSR going away completely in 26-27

0 chance those numbers are accurate they're all too low for everyone. Arsenal will probably be pushing close to 450-475 after new contracts for all their key players in next years data
Fbref says they get their data from capology and they are always off. The charts earlier in the thread are from UEFA data that the clubs send in for their SCR calcs.

Micah Richards cleared up the first one during the halftime show that the Bayern handball just prior was why PSG got the free kick and why the subsequent PSG handball wasn't a card/FK
The fact that PSG player s did not react calling for a hand ball makes it clear that it was not a hand ball by Laimer.
Portuguese Mendes could beat all 1st leg and needs 4 Portuguese officials to help in 2nd leg.
Bayern should have been a man up for most of game and would have easily won.

Catching up with the match today.
That was it, PSG-Bayern was the real CL we wanted to see in two championship teams.
Both teams proved themselves enough. Now PSG has to play winner of the NIT pathway
