I don't know how to feel about 100M+
He will certainly improve the midfield over last season, but that is a steep price. Along with overpaying for Havertz, in my opinion.

It’ll only matter if the moves don’t work.
Hopefully Havertz moving back to his normal position and adding rice to O solidifies the midfield a bit more

Guarantee you City never had intention to sign DR. They wanted to make sure that Arsenal paid at a minimum full price (if not more) and it worked.

Maybe, but city holds steady in their valuations. Always have or else Kane would have gone there.
And they are losing kova and gundo, so there is space in the midfield.

Not denying there is a need for them. They can go and pluck just about any player they want to fill the role. Pep knows what Arteta is building and will interfere anyway he can.

The Ornacle has spoken. Rice is ours

Arsenal have agreed a fee with West Ham to sign Declan Rice. #AFC made £100m + £5m add-ons offer for 24yo England midfielder last night & that has been accepted. Record for British player. Clubs now working to resolve payment terms @TheAthleticFC #WHUFC

Kai is official.

Mikel Arteta on Havertz: “Kai is a player of top quality. He has great versatility and he’s intelligent player”.
“He will bring a huge amount of extra strength to our midfield and variety to our play”.

Is rice really a 100 million dollar player? Bellingham cost the same or maybe even a bit less and it seems like he’s a better player.

I think he's a 75 million player that due to his success for England and West Ham and the English tax easily costs 100 million. Home Grown. We get to have him be the heart of the midfield for 5 to 8 maybe more seasons.
Also Bellingham would have been 130 easily to a British club

No, but not our money and im just happy Arsenal has beaten teams like city, bayern and real to signings.
We are playing with the big dogs now.

Ethan Nwaneri has committed future to Arsenal by signing scholarship terms + agreeing pro deal when turns 17. Major interest from other clubs but 16yo never wanted to leave - lifelong #AFC fan & Islington born/bred. Huge boost for Gunners @TheAthleticFC

The last 2 to 3 days of Arsenal news have been like a cum fest.
Holy shite.
Remember when those fricking clowns Mustafi and Sokratis were our starting CB pair? I just can't believe it

Have they signed a CB yet? Getting rice even though yall had to pay the english passport tax is still a solid signing.
Arsenal fell apart last year when Saliba went down so I would imagine they would want to reinforce that back line.

Not yet, but Timber looks imminent. Also, our issue last year was we got hit with Saliba and Tomi injuries at the same time (same game). If Tomi was available, or Arteta let Kiwor play CB earlier, instead of Holding…who knows how the season would end.
* Edited because I can't spell. But no fear, I've already been quoted with the error in place.
