What would y’all think about keeping Balo and selling Nketiah?

Nketiah at least as real PL experience (although wasn’t very productive)

But feels like Balogun has higher ceiling, and has 20+ goals in a top 5 league

Balogun also 3 years younger

@FabrizioRomano · 35m Understand Saudi clubs are prepared to pay €40m in installments to Arsenal for Thomas Partey. He’s a concrete option for Saudi — his exit is possible as revealed on Sunday. ?????????? No decision yet on player side. He also has approaches from Europe. No new deal talks at #AFC.

I mean 40 is the best we will get, a year down the road we won’t be getting that offer.

Take the money and RUN.

I love my boy but with the rape allegations and the injuries I've about had enough.

Praying to God we go back in for Caicedo

Balogun has already said he's not coming to be a backup.

I say sell both and have a buyback on Balogun and/or a sell on clause.

I'm all for it, I just don't think it will happen.

Yep I’d prefer him to Eddie but he wants to be the main guy and we can’t guarantee that. Thus we need to cash in right now.

Where did he say this? I saw him say that he didn’t want to go on loan again. Didn’t see him say anything else more specific.

Have seen him quoted various places that he wants a starting role plus this type of statement would add up.

Yeah I’m not sure he said back up but I’d also imagine it just depends on how Arteta sees him.

Since he was the loanee and we are bringing in Kai, there is an argument he could be 5th choice #9 behind Jesus, Nkhetia, Kai, trossard.

Now that I don’t think he’d want to do.

Well I just saw this but not subscribed to athletic…

So possibly 4th choice.

And if Kai can excel there then that’s our xhaka replacement.

Read it. Basically saying that Chelsea forced him to the 9 because of Timo and Lukaku pissing Tuchel off and a quote from Kai saying "I'm a midfielder but I like to go in the box". Left 8

Also saw Ornstein put that City are about to make an approach for Rice. If that swoop works, I may abandon ye all hope.

If Arteta thinks he needs Havertz he’s earned a “In Mikel I trust” from me after this last season.

But I’m very uneasy with what looks like is turning into a colossal frick up with Declan Rice now that City is swooping in.

Zero chance he’s behind Trossard. Kai is a midfielder. I think Balo is either 3rd or 2nd right now. I hope Arteta gives him some time in preseason camp to prove he’s the number one. Apparently he had a very strong camp with the usmnt.

Excuse my confusion but how would that be a frickup? No one has frick you money like city. If they want their man they’re going to get their man.

Breaking news, it should have been wrapped up before City started sniffing around, given Rice’s desire to come to the Emirates, Soccer Genius.

So West Ham would have just accepted a bid without waiting for City to get involved. Breaking news angry guy, West Ham was going to hold out for a bidding war no matter what

Orn BOMB

David Ornstein

?? EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal have tonight submitted a massive offer to West Ham for England midfielder Declan Rice. Proposal is for £100m + £5m in add-ons - would be a record for a British player as #AFC try to agree deal with #WHUFC for top target @TheAthleticFC

Best decision I made recently is supporting all Kroenke teams so he could splash that $$$$ around

I’ve been shopping at Walmart.

But sweet baby Jesus. If we can get rice and havertz this week. Eeek!!!
