re: Welcome to Omaha!

Hope usc can hold on here. I know we’ve already lost to both Texas and Georgia but we did take one in Austin and should’ve won the series against Georgia. I’d feel pretty good about our chances in a national championship against them.
quote:you forgot Alabama who could make a bit of noise.
Once there we face one of Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, Georgia, Mississippi State.
We have a very good chance of advancing to the title series but the game is never played on paper. Gotta go out there and keep doing what we’ve been doing and hopefully we’ll be lifting another trophy

quote:I want him to quit striking out so much
Not sure what else you want out of a catcher hitting 7th.
But regardless he is what he is. He’s a true two outcome guy and im at peace with that but it doesn’t mean I can’t still bitch about it lol. He had a good night Friday, and he is a good defensive catcher. I’m happy for him and the rest of the boys but especially Furniss and Utermark for not giving in these last four years. Hope we can make some noise next weekend
quote:TN/AL residents can sort of understand but the rest of the SEC has no idea how difficult it is to lock down instate recruiting with another SEC team
They always should have been. They have a ton of in state talent for all sports.
quote:it really sucks that we’ve run into some insanely good teams along the way. We got matched with a Texas team that swept the CWS, with arguably our best team, the next season we had Miami with 40+ wins, then a 49 win ASU, and a 49 win Virginia squad that had won 17 of their last 21, beating two top 10 teams in the ACCT and had just swept the Irvine regional.
Think those 05-10 teams and the Thomas Dillard and kessinger teams are what people hold on to. I'm still convinced the 05 team is the best one we've had
We probably should’ve beaten Miami & definitely Virginia but “that’s baseball” as our wise leader once said. I do think we probably win it all in 05 had we gotten past Texas though (and that’s something those Texas players said too). And if we had broken through and won one back then there’s no telling how our fortunes change in subsequent seasons.

0-2 with 2 k and 1 hbp
No the fat retard fawley needs to be benched. I’m so sick of that stupid motherfricker waving his bat and doing his big leg kick and completely whiffing on every ball thrown his way
Furniss is so arse
quote:I’ve said it before but I fully believe we were at worst the 2nd best team in the country that year. We should’ve played for a national championship.
Not having a chance to see what the 2020 team could do is an absolute travesty.
quote:which is why 21 was such a bs outcome and will always have an asterisk. Who knows what would’ve happened in the title series but NCSU was the hottest team in the country that month
Of all sports to cancel, baseball is probably the one with the least amount of player to player contact. They could have easily played that season without risk or injury to players or fans
quote:it really is quite amazing how much the mustard buzzards cuck for them. I know several people who legitimately did not know who to root for in 2022 when they got paired in the same regional.
Ahh. So LSU fans

Welcoming Milwaukee next weekend*
quote:obviously, but my point was that regardless of the result we still had a very good, successful season. We won the premier league. If we had lost the league then of course the loss today would’ve been much worse. We were almost playing with house money today based on how the league season went was what I was getting at.
My friend that’s the biggest cherry to ever be associated with that saying
Hell of a season. I wasn’t as upset with the loss today as I would’ve normally been, I started looking at the CL as cherry on top of this season as soon as we won the league. I told some people back in December that id rather have a PL than a CL, and thankfully we ended up winning the one I most wanted. Sucks the way we lost but it isn’t the end of the world. We will be back. Arteta is one of the best tacticians and man mangers in the world, and we’ve got a very very good squad but we just didn’t have enough gas after 63 games. I don’t post here as much as I used to but it’s been a very fun ride. Here’s to one of our boys winning it all this summer (if Ronaldo doesn’t) and I’ll see y’all when the transfer rumors start up
Off topic but i know the girl in your profile picture. She was nice :pimp:

Pay 140M for Rodrygo pls
I’m ok with keeping Martinelli as a backup/CL player next year but yeah Trossard has to go. We need an elite LW (and im afraid possibly a RW as well). I fricking hate that o reilly bitch. Dude looks like a mole rat with a paintbrush haircut. He’s a good player but I fricking hate him. Guess id like him if he played for us.
13 years of supporting this shite club (im sure most of yall have been fans longer) but damn dude im tired. I don’t know what the hell younger me was thinking choosing Arsenal when I could’ve just been a bandwagon and hopped on a successful team at that time. I need a drink.

I think im mentally checking out. 4 consecutive second place finishes, we employ some absolute fricking pussies. Gabriel was getting bitched all game. I’m tired of this shite. Once again the cheaters have zero punishment and get to do whatever the hell they want to win another asterisk title. I don’t care. If we lose to Atletico next week it’s time to sell at least 6 of these players

Up to #9 RPI this morning. We've already played 19 Quandrant 1 games this season.
I’m glad I decided to watch the masters instead of whatever the hell this 7th inning implosion was

Still a long way to go but we’re currently #2 in the country in SOS, #8 in RPI, and already have 8 q1 wins (t3 in the country). I don’t trust the two mikes to not screw things up but as of Easter we are in a strong position for the postseason.
quote:not after the pups horrible showing this weekend.
only conference series losses are to top 5 teams
Although I do think they’ll be a national seed which could help our chances if we’re on the bubble of hosting/being in
