I watched the game with my 7 and 5 yo. The 7 yo boy is in select soccer. Watching this game with him inparticular was awesome. He is a fan of soccer for life now.
I am not the biggest fan but I’ll have to be getting into it more. My 5 yo does not like playing soccer but even she was into it. Just a great experience watching that beautiful game with young kids

Man, you have to love the fight from Argentina, but they defend like psychopaths when they are frazzled.
From a neutral point of view, that's fantastic, because they put themselves in terrible positions and give up hard won leads for no good reason.
Maybe what the sport needs is less tinkering with the game, and more psychopathic defending.

Bangladesh apparently has supported Argentina for years. They got TV around the time Maradona was hitting his peak and liked that he beat England who significant influence in that region of the world.

Messi is the goat but Martinez is equally deserving of player of the tournament, all those GK saves, that ridiculous foot save. M Bappe is clearly equal to Messi, Loris was great but Martinez is probably golden glove winner or runner up
