Just like 1914.
The US/Europe thought we could bring Ukraine into NATO and lock Russia down.
Russia thought that 2014 and 2015 meant they could rip off a big chunk of Ukraine for free.
And Ukraine... just hates Russia and had weird thoughts of driving on Moscow after they regained the 2014 borders...
We were all wrong, but Ukraine refuses to admit it.

Yeah, but Russia did at least make it very clear, for years, that NATO expansion into Ukraine was their Red Line. They may have wanted the war, but without the West giving them the excuse I don't know whether or not they just go in on their own. They might have, but I don't know.

Killing children and or ignoring people slaughtering children is an American past time. Trump is a major supporter of that mentality as is his admin.
At least the murder of white children is being tested the same as they do for brown children at the hands of their “allies”.

I think the fact that Obama didn't react in 2014 and 2015 meant that they thought Biden in 2022 would be similar.
But we crossed that line possibly in the 2000s when the Baltics signed up for NATO.
They just can't go up against the US toe to toe.
The war was set to happen since 2014 honestly.
