This is not the first Russian general that has been killed in Moscow. As long as the war is going on they are fair game IMO. Same goes for targeting Ukrainian generals. This war has two sides that hate each other. It is as nasty as the Eastern Front in WWII.

I'm pretty agnostic to the outcome. But this is a war of attrition and unless some other country starts placing large numbers of troops to fight for Ukraine in Ukraine, Russia has the advantage. I don't have an issue with the taking out of a military leader, but I don't think it will help the end goal much.
I don't think the U.S. will be sending troops and since most European countries wouldn't stop buying oil and natural gas from Russia, I don't see them supplying more than advisors and material. There comes a point where the supplies won't matter if there isn't anyone to use them. They might have the guns and the bullets, but no fingers to pull the trigger.
Unenviable position for Z.

It’s a war.
Anyone who is trying to kill Ukrainians should be a target by the Ukranian military.
Sending all those missiles into Kiev really hurt the peace process also. Two way street.

So continue fighting instead of agreeing to peace is what you’re pushing for Ukraine?
With whose troops, money, and weapons?
Because Ukraine doesn’t have any of the three. And Europe simply isn’t going to provide what’s needed.
So you want us to keep sending our money and weapons? For as long as it takes? So more of the last several years? Regardless of loss of life? Regardless of loss of treasure? Regardless of danger of escalation?
For what? Shitty Donbass and Lugansk and Crimea? Sorry but it’s a war and Russia has them now. They’re not giving them back. Not without many years of war, blood, and treasure that no one else but us can or would provide.
