exactly
This poor woman has to go through this because the Democrats decided 20M illegals were needed.
Only the simple-minded would blame the agent that accidentally misidentified a suspect.

do you have any idea why a brown US citizen might fear a federal immigration agent?

Do your coworkers know you’re a white male liberal?

I'm sure you would advise any woman in her early 20s to stop and present her identification to any armed, masked man who jumped out of a car and approached them on the street.
You mean a clearly identifiable federal agent.
This is the vest he was wearing in the video. Stop being a drama queen, Karen.

Your thread has moved me. We need to cease immigration enforcement and border patrol. These things are MEAN.

ETA: This was not a checkpoint. She was walking in her neighborhood.

My coworkers don't know anything about my politics and I don't know anything about theirs, because we don't talk politics at work, other than how actual policies will affect our business.

In this thread you're like "why would a 90 lbs woman walking alone NOT stop and chat with a man wearing a mask who approaches her on the street?"
I thought your post indicated she knew he wasn’t “some man” but was a law enforcement officer?

IF it happened as reported... as a female, I'd probably haul arse too if masked men jumped out of a couple of SUVs and came at me.
Even if you quickly realized they were immigration agents as this woman did before she decided to run?
Wouldn’t the impulse be to help law enforcement obtain important information as most of us have done throughout our lives? Rational and emotionally stable people fear criminals rather than law enforcement officials in the presence of multiple witnesses in your own neighborhood.

They had a warrant and were looking for one specific person.
That's not a patrol.

Probably couldn't as she was literally shaking (likely). Shocked she was able to type this.

It understandable for this American citizen to run from strangers until they identified themselves as law enforcement officers. After that she should have complied with their requests. Louisiana has an app for cell phones called Louisiana wallet which show a drivers license. Since Louisiana does not issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants and a 22 year old female never goes anywhere without her phone there is no reason for her not to be able to prove her identify, ability to be here legally, or to not comply with law enforcement officers instructions.

You also don't know my politics, just how I feel about a masked, unidentifiable "law enforcement" agents harassing and detaining legal citizens.

I think OP said more than one officer was involved.
But- it also said she knew from the first one it was law enforcement- she shouldn't have run.
or at least stopped when they yelled law enforcement stop!
