I would disagree with that, wholly. I presume you mean Trump supporters.

If you want the country to move to the right get more conservatives on school boards and hired as teachers, professors, school administrators, and university presidents. Your children aren't spending their days being lectured by Congress. Politics is downstream from culture.

Personally, I just want the federal government reduced down to the original intent of it. I just want to be left alone to live my life and not have our constitutional rights shite on every time I turn around. Those are pipe dreams that are likely to never happen. I would think most people would desire the same, but as SCLibertarian alluded to, too many American's are fat, lazy, and apathetic. That leads to a large population who may say one thing, but are going to vote for whoever will keep them on the government's tit. To sum that up, good luck getting enough conservative people elected to make a difference in this country.

Well, yeah? Seems like a pretty fail safe way to know who you support and vote for. The GOPe like DeSantis are pure scum, I’d say more so than the left because they actually pretend to be patriotic.

The nation was largely conservative not too long ago. Republican like you mention helped change that trajectory to the left.

You don’t change things by doing the same things Republicans are largely lobby-bought suits and need to be removed. Might take awhile, but you won’t move the needle right ever by continuing to push it leftward.

Follow the money explains the general direction leftward.

Classic conservativism means less spending and waste. It's harder to line pockets in that environment.

Populists.

Easiest groups to radicalize for leftist activism.

Since 2016, there are fewer Rs in state and federal office since the 1990s.

Rs have lost bases of power in several blue states like Michigan, where Rs controlled one or both branches of Govt for 40 years. Now Michigan is gone and it is no longer a right to work state. All of this has transpired since 2016.

2016… I wonder what happened. It’s not RINOs that have destroyed the party, although RINOs from red states like Lindsay Graham suck arse. RINOs, or “moderate” conservatives from purple or blue states are absolutely fricking necessary to maintain a majority. Shiiteing on them doesn’t help at all.

Now RINOs from red states? Yeah, fair game. They shouldn’t be endorsed, elevated, promoted in any capacity. Anyone who promotes a RINO, like Lindsay Graham, is an idiot, and a traitor to the cause.

You guys accuse Trump supporters of not being conservatives. When dud we last elect a conservative?

Herbert Hoover?

Seems like the conservatives were never conservative.

Just voting for NAFTA and continuous wars doesn't me one conservative.

Need proof? How many people on this board criticized Trump for the deficit? For no entitlement reform? Nobody. Trump spent money just the drunken sailors before him and nobody said a word because "he owned the libs".

Sure "owning the libs" was a fun part of it, but accepting his "gotta spend money to make money" approach was overlooked because it was paying dividends early on.

It's that simple. America is not as far right as a majority of this board thinks it is.

It's almost as if letting the left have unchecked control of academia and entertainment for 60 years has consequences.
