Jennings was wrong on this one. The guy was not saying that “Illegals” is not allowed to describe illegal aliens. He was saying that the group ICE is targeting includes US citizens and THAT’s why “you can’t use ‘illegals’.
I think the leftie is wrong on that point. Sure some US citizens get wrongfully detained, but the number is extremely small, so small that it belies the charge that ICE is “targeting” them.
That paragraph immediately above encompasses the proper rebuttal, but Jennings latched onto the “illegal aliens can’t be referred to as illegals” argument, which is a shibboleth of the left, but wasn’t actually being wielded this time.

I honestly don't know how Jennings can muster the energy every single day to go into a job where he's surrounded by the most weak and feeble-minded puppets on earth.
He's actually a based and logical guy without "extremist" views. In fact, he's just plainly a reflection of how most people on both sides of the aisle felt going back as recently as the first Obama term.
...but every day, that man is paid to go on set with the most intellectually empty and emotionally-charged NPCs that have ever walked this earth. You can clearly see the absolute exhaustion written all over him every day.

Agreed. But one of the great things about it is to watch their body language and facial expressions. He gets under their skin so much. They absolutely HATE him and hate that they have to be at the same table with him and let him speak. It's awesome.
