Look at the fat people around you. They are so damn lazy that cant walk around a grocery store one time. Thats why pickup business is exploding
I dont even want to think about the kid in aisle 2 that was picking his nose as I rounded the corner, whoi then proceeded to grab a squash to put into someones order

On line, pre-paid orders only. They've had enough of the thieving.
I can see them moving to this in certain areas.

They are probably scaling up their online grocery department and it is just not ready yet. Different stores have a different number of max orders they can accept. Sometimes a store will up their maximum and they want the extra parking spaces set up before it’s implemented. Online grocery is one of Walmart’s top priorities. How all of this is done is decided entirely by home office in Arkansas. Store-level management has almost no say in any of these things.

They're doing the opposite here (NC). They just reduced the self checkout by 50% and beefed up the regular lines
Saw a report on Maria Bartiromo or Varney about this recently. Apparently people have been stealing at the self check-out stations. Stealing enough that it's cheaper to employ people instead.
I don't think anyone could have predicted this would happen. Sheesh!

Walmart is controlled by some bad people. They are also very political and part of the corrupt system. They stopped carrying Mike Lindell's products simply because he was a vocal, high-profile supporter of President Trump

There's 2 things I do that I dont feel good about. One is that I mostly shop at Wal-mart because 1) they're very close to me, and 2) they carry everything, unlike much smaller stores like Dollar General. I actually like Dollar General, but they are small stores and don't sell everything.
The 2nd thing I do that I don't feel good about is Amazon. I don't trust Amazon, but they are so darn convenient.
And then this? Buy directly from the supplier if it’s proprietary. Or man up and make it yourself. You sound like my almost certainly gay liberal cousin.

Lower shrinkage. Just makes sense
The people causing the shrink are still going into the store.

We use home delivery. We live 30 minutes from the local Walmart in Minden and they deliver for free. I bought trailer tires and rims the other day and they delivered within 3 hours.

It will probably be the non-stealing people who use the pick-up system and the hoodrats will still come in and steal.

Never could understand why someone would want some minimum wage moron picking out their fresh veggies and meat.

I was waaaaay more pissed when they dedicated parking spaces for EV parking/charging right up front next to the handicapped parking.

I’d rather use pickup than deal with idiots in the store
Pickup can be a problem too as if you order a particular brand name item and they don't have enough, they pack substitute products into your bag.

I do not grocery shop at Walmart. I do all mine at Krogers or Brookshires depending on who may be running a better sal that week. I do all the cooking therefor I do all the grocery shopping as well. My wife always gets aggravated that I pay more at those stores than I would at Walmart. I tell her that it is worth the money to me to not have to deal with Walmart and if she has that big a problem with it she can go back to doing all the cooking.

UFOs take up more than one space hence the extra spots set aside.

What about their "digital shelf labels" that can change the price as your on the way to the register...will they change the price before you get your receipt?

• Prices shift throughout the day
• Go up when it’s busy… drop when it’s slow
• Updated across the entire store in seconds
• Same item… slightly different price depending on timing
• He shows this is happening across almost every shelf
Tiny increases… a few cents at a time… across thousands of products.
That adds up to millions more, straight from customers who don’t even notice.
So the price you see?
It might not be what it was earlier.
And it might not be what the next person pays.
He says this is just the beginning…
• Constant price testing
• Slow increases over time
• Dialing in exactly what people will tolerate
Same product. Same shelf.
But the price?
Always moving.
Are you okay with prices changing behind the scenes… or does this feel like something people should be paying attention to?

Dude, GFY. There's a ton of things I don't do that a ton of people here do. Probably including you. I was simply being honest about about a couple of exceptions.
You can take your holier-than-thou self-proclaimed know-it-all attitude and shove it up your arse.

It's not illegal to park in those.
