Iran is a damned bridge troll.

It’s a low brow, mouth breather with a hunched back and 6 fingers on one hand, but at the end of the day the son of a beech controls the bridge.

Wow. Have you sent this to Trump in a memo? Your insight here might just solve the greatest geopolitical economic issue of our time.

I mean can you imagine being in the military or politics and answering the phones when knuckle draggers call in with earth shattering solutions like this?

In his defense, he’s probably just as qualified as Hegseth. All he needs is a few buzz words (“lethality! warfighter!”) and he’s ready for the top job.

None of this is true.

Nuclear program destroyed.

Radical regime was literally killed in the first few days. The leader is currently enjoying a "Weekend ad Bernies".

The IRGC does not control anything - there is literally no leader left alive in that organization.

Jeez, don't you guys watch the news?

If all of that is true, Trump would probably claim the win and go home.

In 2025 the Straight exported about $3 billion of Oil and about $1.5 billion of LNG per week.

Last week three tankers tried. One got through, one had to turn around, and one got blown up.

Way more than three tankers tried and got through last week. These were just the 3 that were stupid enough to have their tracking system turned on.

The strait is not the only way to get oil out of the middle east.

You think the market is just going to allow the oil flow to be shut down?

Sheesh, this is some epic rigid thinking.

I don’t agree with how this situation was handled but please explain your quote above with data…

You think that was our best shot? I would posit it was our weakest shot…we could have destroyed whatever we wanted….”best shot?” Get out of here with that bullshite anecdotal crap

The Iranian regime is all but finished. They wont survive the stranglehold President Trump has placed on them.

They know it, we know it, the world knows it.

Liberal cucks don’t know it.

There are no mines in the water and Iran isn’t doing anything to physically close the straight. They are threatening to put mines out and that’s making insurance companies back out of insuring tankers going through the straight.

That’s why it’s laughable when people chirp that Iran is kicking our asses in all of this. They are literally doing nothing but talking.

Iran has done frick all other than making a threat. The insurance companies are the real ones “closing the straight”
Is the fact that Iran has managed to gain this much leverage without actually “kicking our arse” supposed to be reassuring?

If Iran can threaten to mine the Strait, cause insurers to back away, disrupt tanker traffic and impose economic costs without firing a shot, that isn’t “doing frick all.”

Are you arguing that it’s less impressive because they achieved the effect without having to actually sink ships? I’m not sure how that makes the situation better for us.

Huge problem is all those middle east countries let the USA do all the heavy lifting and don’t do much of jack shite to band together and stop Iran from fricking up everyone’s trade.
