The good news is once Iran opens the strait to traffic the U.S. will be able to pay a toll and finally sail their Navy to Bahrain and hoist the mission accomplished banner.

Iran is being told what to demand by both of them. Not an original demand came from the Iran so called leadership.

That’s correct. Time to leave. But the issue is that the US bombing campaign caused the IRGC closing of the strait.
This is the hook. Oil prices are relatively low right now because we are draining our reserves and China theirs. When those run dry and us and China have to begin buying oil on the open market , watch out. If Trump had 3 more years of oil in the SPR, he’d probably just leave. But, we only have about three more months.
