Hollywood and the entertainment industry is built on obsessing on the adoption of avant-garde trends. Kids glom onto trends (especially when they are being pushed by media as being something positive). Gender dysphoria (or "transism", for their vernacular) is the current cause-du-jour for Hollywood, the Left and entertainment in general so it shouldn't be unexpected that those who make their living in/around Hollywood and entertainment have a disparately high amount of gender dysphoric children.
It's an indictment on the parents for raising their kids in such a keep-up-with-the-Joneses atmosphere.

It is really strange that if you go to a party in Iowa, few, and likely no people there will have trans kid, but if oyu go to a party in L.A. most if not all will.

Big shock! When you grow up where normalization of mental illness is glorified more children are going to view this as a thing. It really is akin to fashionable trends and virtue signaling street cred. The difference is, however, when Coca-Cola shirts become unfashionable you can throw them away for the next designer t-shirt. When the kid inevitably realizes their mistake, they can't exactly do that when their hormones have been fricked with or their penis has been cut off. Really intelligent bunch of people who don't exactly have much critical thinking skills.
