This is crazy that civilians saw him but LEO and SS didn’t. What a failure.

We may find this to be true but don't underestimate Joe's ability to frick shite up. Fedgov sucks arse at literally everything it does and with Joe Biden at the helm, it's taken on an added (DEI-fueled) dimension of weirdly prideful incompetence.
I hope Trump getting part of his ear shot off gives him the drive to shrink the frick out the federal government - every single part of it. It is out of control, and oh yeah - now about 25% of GDP.

Watch the vid, it shows the sniper already looking down range towards the assassin, as soon as the assassin fires the sniper squeezes off a shot within 2-3 seconds.

I may be wrong here but I think the SS was all located on stage/in that vicinity.
The outer perimeter and beyond was the responsibility of LEOs.
Obviously not having that building actually manned was a catastrophic frickup (or worse something sinister)by whoever was overseeing the entire operation.

I watched this and initially thought it was utterly fake or AI'd for the blatant disregard shown.

IF that's true, that by itself is a strong indictment of the USSS incompetence. If you're a counter sniper watching the rooftops, it's not acceptable to not be able to visualize all the rooftops.

I don't know much about SS detail, but 150 yards should be within their security perimeter. If I could have hit Trump with a 9-iron, SS should have been all over that rooftop.

I’m not sorry for questioning how that was allowed to happen, complete fricking failure. The US Government can deploy a drone the size of a quarter to determine who needs killing in a group, but can’t protect a former President, horse fricking shite.

this really isn't that difficult.
If you had him in your sights and saw him take position, and aim, you fire before he gets off a shot.
if you didn't already have him in your sights, then how the hell did you find him, sight him, and shoot so quickly?
