The 40th anniversary of Miracle On Ice is coming up and I saw a former player got to play a round with Barack Obama about six months ago and my first thought was he must be a Democrat. Regardless, something to tell the boys and grandkids about.

It also got me wondering how far the political polarization is or maybe isn't. So...

As a Democrat or Republican if you had the opportunity would you play a round of golf with the most recent President of the opposite party you support? Obama or Trump? Would you keep it light or try to talk politics and critical decisions they had to make?

Absolutely, I've seen Obama's golf swing. I'd give anything to give him a run for his money on the course.

I'd golf with Soleimani as long as I'm not paying.

Hell yes.

More than likely, it'd be on a course that would be a complete pain in the arse for me to get on otherwise.

frick yeah. It’s ridiculous that people think just because you identify with a certain political party that you can’t get along as a human being.

I wasn't an Obama supporter, but I still respect the office and I would consider it an honor to be asked by a President/former President to play a round of golf with him.

I wouldn't try to talk with him about critical and controversial issues/decisions. But I would LOVE to get just an overview of what it is/was like to be the POTUS from the person who lived it.

Hell, even though I think he is a buffoon and have zero intentions of supporting him in the 2020 race, I would gladly sit down for a beer or three with Joe Biden. I think that conversation would be entertaining
