Of course. I'm not an SJW that hates other Americans.

Yes, of course.

The chapter in the early 2000s in the Rick Reilly book about playing with Trump was pretty funny. Basically exactly what you'd expect from Trump (which I'm assuming would be the same opinion whether you support him or not).

Hell yes I would. You know the kind of courses they play? I could never do that on my own.

No, because I suck at golf. However, I would share a beer though, as I am actually pretty good at that.

I would plan an entire trip around getting to golf, eat, drink with any former or sitting president regardless of politics. Those who say they wouldn't are sad people.

I would never give up the chance to meet a president. Like them or hate them, I completely respect the job they have to do. They are literally the leader of the free world.

Are you going to nitpick the posts where people say they wouldn't golf with a Democrat

Where are these posts? I see everyone saying they would love to golf with Obama.

You're the only poster that went full TDS with your response.

Which is why you got the comment. I expected nothing less from you.

Of course. Gotta respect the office/position. And while golfing very respectfully talk about whatever disagreements I had with his policies, etc

I'd say most, but not all, Republicans would definitely play a round with Obama. Some, but not many, democrats would play a round with Trump.

To the OP, of course. My life does revolve around politics, and I don't judge others on their political beliefs. In the end, most of us believe the same things, we just think that there are different paths to get there.

As a Democrat or Republican if you had the opportunity would you play a round of golf with the most recent President of the opposite party you support?

No. However, prior to 2008, yes.

I don't play golf and i would take that invitation. Honestly if i had to choose a living president to play golf with it would be Trump and i didn't even vote for the guy.

While true, I suspect the ratio of no to yes for Trump from liberals would be ENORMOUSLY larger than from conservatives re: Obama.

It would be cool as hell to meet any president.

I've shaken hands with 3 although I think "met" would probably be too strong a word for it.

I mean, I said a couple of words and they did back, but, I don't think that counts.

I hate both parties.

But no matter how I felt about a current President, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity. You can raise an issue of concern and hopefully get it addressed.

Yes and I would certainly go to the White House and shake his hand if I was the member of a championship sports team rather thank looking like a sniveling dufus.

Don't have a party but yes, I would golf with the leader of the free world
