If they do get blocked, I am not enough of a legal scholar to know if this version of checks & balances is what the Founding Fathers intended.

I do know that it's annoying how these Murkowski type chodes always seem to get in the way, but idk if it's true corruption or just a case of a double-edged sword

When there are resounding no's from the left, I'm surprised the nominee even entertains them. I suppose they have to in a certain sense, but zero chance anyone on the left votes to confirm Kash for example.

Oh, I agree and would love to see the entertainment value of the hearings jump a bit with the nominee's exposure of the Senator(s) for their very own dirty deeds, especially when the nominee knows the particular Senator is a "NO" vote. What Kennedy did to Bernie was beautiful.

Besides, I feel the public would see a much more honest hearing when such exposure can work in both directions with either side allowed to pontificate the truth!

It depends on who is in the "on deck" circle.

There was an old trick in Hollywood to get around the tight censorship rules where directors would film more gratuitous content than they intended to include just so when the MPAA objected they could edit out a few minutes and appear to compromise.

I want RFK, I think he can do some good for the health of America, he's a unique vision for us.

Tulsi, honestly Meh, Trump can get a better soldier to fix the intel world.

the fact any Rs won't vote for them is disgusting

Dems ALWAYS stick together.

As is usual the case, the Democrats start something that will be a problem in the future

If these appointments are not confirmed I would expect any future Democrat president to never get a confirmation from a republican majority Senate and I would inform these people as such that it is now scorched earth

Unfortunately the Republicans are too big of pussies

Great answer!

I thought Tulsi was phenomenal yesterday - I was very impressed that she refused to cave into calling Snowden a Traitor. That took a lot of balls for her to do this because she truly believes he is not a traitor for exposing Gov corruption to the American people.

and YES, I will be extremely pissed off if these two are not confirmed

All of the components of Trump’s plans are necessary for his success.

Without the curiosity and skepticism of RFK, our health services will continue to serve only corporate interests at the detriment of truth and research.

Without Tulsi’s honesty about our past foreign policy and dedication to cleaning up operations, the MIC will continue.

Without Kash at the FBI, corrupt politicians will not be held accountable.

Without DOGE, none of the above confirmations will be effective due to the leviathan of the incompetent and malicious federal workforce.

We need them all

I will solely blame the GOP Senate for it, with no pause. And I hope it leads to sweeping, major changes in the makeup of who's in office in this country.
