They need to both be confirmed. I'm tired of these committees looking at the dumb shite instead of looking at the sole reason for the hearing...to see if each are QUALIFIED or not. Both are qualified. That is all they should be looking at....period.
It send a bad message about the Democrat Party that 2 former democrats wont be confirmed by Democrats for the most part. That bullshite and the 2 parties have to at least TRY and show that they are attempting to work together for the betterment of the country as a whole.

A Hegseth level disrupter was needed but it could have been anyone like that I think Pete may do a good job TSTT. But if he had been replaced by someone with less baggie I would not care as long as he would disrupt the status quo and execute the Trump changes
