My thought? No. Everything went sideways because we are ruled by elderly people who plan to live forever.
The five oldest U.S. senators in the 119th Congress were:
Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), 91
Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), 83
Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), 82
Jim Risch (R-Idaho), 81
Angus King (I-Maine), 80
The five oldest Democratic U.S. representatives in the 119th Congress were:
Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), 86
Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), 85
James Clyburn (D-S.C.), 84
Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), 84
Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.), 83
The five oldest Republican U.S. representatives in the 119th Congress were:
Hal Rogers (R-Ky.), 87
John Carter (R-Texas), 83
Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), 81
Jim Baird (R-Ind.), 79
Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), 77
Donald Trump: 79 years
Joe Biden: 83 years
Fauci: 85 years

I have a difficult time seeing how Covid had a negative effect on anyone no matter the age.
The average age of death from Covid was older than the average age of death in America.
Yes, people died of Covid, but during that time flu deaths dropped to almost none. The average flu deaths per year were close to the number of Covid deaths.
Less people died in the Covid year than the years before the pandemic hit so Covid somehow prevented death.
My point is those who died of Covid were going to die anyway of flu.

Weren't hospitals paid to report covid deaths?
You get what you pay for.

Covid was a glorified cold that for the most part claimed very old or very unhealthy people. Some people died from egregious medical negligence.

If children were primarily effected or even effected as much as elderly and overweight unhealthy folks I think lockdowns would've been even more severe and longer lasting.....but that would've been a different scenario and those measures may have been justified.

None of those people should be in office. Over 70 is too damn old. Zero chance they are aware of what the average American deals with daily
And before the boomers get all riled up I’m 51 and far removed from what 20-40 year olds are experiencing. I looked at the lineup for a music festival the other day and knew maybe 2 bands out of 50

It wasn't just age. A large percentage of deaths were linked to obesity regardless of age.

Notice how the government never said much of anything about losing weight?
Can’t have Americans feeling responsible for their choices or PepsiCo selling leas sugar water.

Good friends wife works in the accounting department of a large hospital on Essen Ln in BR and was shocked at how much money OLOL was taking in each month due to "Covid".
If a person died of flu or any respiratory related illness the CoD was put down as CV19 so the hospital got paid differently (more $).
Conspiracy? No clue, just know what she claimed she was seeing.

That’s how they kept everyone in line to enforce tyranny

I think so, but at least then it would have been more justified. Never before has protecting the elderly caused a society to sacrifice its children's prospects. That was a bizarre outcome.
