Would Iran’s asymmetrical attack on a UK base trigger Article 5?

MI5 warning of major shift by Iran targeting UK military sites.

The country attacked has to invoke it. It’s not automatic.

The UK enjoys being attacked. They are weak.

At the very least it can’t be an invitation either.

And they won’t. They’d more likely apologize for them.

Or let’s say the UK attacks Russia first whatever reason. Russia then attacks the UK and UK invokes Article 5. The rest can say no because the UK was the aggressor and attacked first.

Pretty sure nothing at this point would trigger article 5. Most NATO countries wouldn't contribute anything of military value if it was triggered. Article 5 basically means nothing when it comes to providing actual military assistance.

Article V of the Nato charter is a pledge that an armed attack against one member state is considered an attack against all of them.
McCallum said that Moscow was increasingly relying on operatives recruited online, rather than trained intelligence officers, many of whom had been sent home in diplomatic expulsions.
“Their global footprint of operatives is weaker than it once was . . . because of the mass expulsions,” he said.
“What we’re seeing instead is attempts to use principally the internet, through cryptocurrency payments, through online applications, to hire or pay, or sometimes not even pay, those willing to do their dirty work here.”
...
“There have been other examples, not just in the UK but around the world, including most specifically in Iran’s own region where we’ve clearly seen attempts to target [military] sites.”
Separately on Tuesday, UK foreign secretary Ed Miliband warned that Europe’s resolve was “being tested” over the war in Ukraine and by Russia’s hybrid threats.
US President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia had sparked “a very difficult few days” in transatlantic relations, Miliband conceded, speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum.

Those pussies wouldn’t fight Iran nor could they.

It should. It would be enormously stupid for Iran to do this for that reason.
NATO is already sitting this out. I don’t know why, from irans perspective, you’d give casus belli.

Is that how we’re dressing up terrorism nowadays?
It was either terrorism, or an out of uniform military attack in which case they deserve no quarter. And yes, I mean that as in no quarter.

Globalist stooges running the UK have zero interest in playing the Article V card against Iran. We asked them to assist back when the bombing runs started and they acted like a bunch of punk bitches.
They're saving their WWIII tokens for Ukraine.

The Sunnis and Shiites have been fighting for centuries. My question is, in this scenario, is the Uk Sunni or Shiite?

Ivoryfacade says not happening.

If they, GOD forbid, are actually attacked, I give it five minutes after determining the identity of the attacker(s) before they issue a formal apology to the goat r@pers that did it.
I'm not going to pretend like everything is perfect or even remotely good here in the US right now, but you're hard pressed to find a more completely emasculated power these days than the UK. Well, if you exclude Canada and France from the conversation...
