They were wearing nods in a light polluted area it could be the crew lost depth perception especially if they were wearing single tube nods.

It’s becoming very suspicious that the name / identity hasn’t been released. 24 hours is a sufficient amount of time for most any next of kin notification.

2) They all coordinated a suicide

For those that listened to the interaction with the tower, did anyone hear all three people in the chopper talking?

Some people's brains just don't do well with them.

Sorry but I don’t buy it. Suicide mission? I’m not a leftist but people screw up everyday. In the air it is life and death. I doubt the goal of killing ice skaters was high on anyone’s minds. Unless they are sick of watching it because their wives make them.

From my first viewing of the event it looked intentional to me.

And, we're supposed to believe that 1 expert pilot was on a kamikaze mission, that the other 2 on board couldn't have been aware of their status?

That’s easy to believe. The helicopter was to go behind the plane. If at the last minute it swerved to hit the plane the instructor would have had to be fast to the stick to prevent it, and even then it would be a wrestling match with the tranny.

If I'm trying to control a craft to save my life and all those on the jet we're about to collide with, I don't think even a super tranny could win that battle. 2 vs 1?

Unless all 3 were in on it, for some reason. Going to need a bigger tin foil hat for that one.

I’m hearing “rumors” that it was remote control and nobody was on the helicopter.

Maybe I’ve seen too many movies but I suppose she could have killed them during the flight, no?

Anyone who has flown an aircraft understands how very difficult it is to see an aircraft. Night flying is complicated by the degradation of spatial awareness. This accident lies squarely on ATC. This has been a long time coming due to the lack of comprehension of priority in the new generation of controllers.

Which if they pulled the bodies out and they were already dead then they would know it was likely intentional.

And you can blink and climb 100ft on accident. Or just a small wind gust. He should’ve been a mile away from that plane, and was obviously focused on another one

Stop, lol... I only have so much tinfoil, and I'm drinking. You're helping me down some wild paths of speculation.

That would turn this into a 3d conspiracy. Not sure we’re there yet.

Lol. I hope I’m wrong but this situation is just too weird to be what it is.

I really don’t want to believe someone could wipeout a plane full of people over politics.
