Pete has been on the high road the whole time. He coached a brilliant game Thursday night. He is a Saban student like many others. The amount of crap he has taken on this board from LSU fans is undeserved. He might not be head coaching material. Time will tell. But the LSUs and Finebaums trashing him is wrong.
Wait what? We got paid off while they backed out. Same with USC when we were supposed to play them this year? I assume you’re talking about before Texas joined the conference.

But to beat a 5-7 team who came to play hard like you’re some kind of badass just pisses me off.

Good point. The last few years we have been rightfully criticized for such an easy schedule. We haven’t played Bama in a couple of years. Haven’t been near Vandy or Auburn or Tennessee. That’s why the schedule change. Now we see why other conference champs move along in the playoffs
Bear with me. I realize State fans root against us vs anyone. Including Hitler. The feeling is mutual. However at the end of the game with Wake Forest tonight the Wake fans started mocking State with SEC chants.

My answer to this is “seriously you pack of pussies?” We had a home and home series set up with these pusscakes. Went to their place and won 40-6. Should’ve been worse. We sat on the ball the second half. Their coach whined about NIL and they canceled their trip to Ole Miss this year. They owed us a home game. But acted like they were cheated. USC also cancelled their series with us. Tells you all you need to know about these other conferences.

To prove how cowardly they are they show their asses tonight against State after injuring State’s Freshman QB. Just thought I’d vent against a bunch of pussy pretenders

Solid point. I’m not sure anyone touches Indiana before this is over. They are the best coached team in the country right now. What they’ve done this year is great for college football. They aren’t perfect but they are close.

I must have missed where Alabama played in the Texas Bowl. Last I checked they were in the playoff. Someone help get me found as Im lost. Ragging teams that lost in the playoff.
As a man it never crosses my mind to get a room with another man. You know what question is coming next….

Why? It’s called brains Dippy. He’s a good kid who after two years with Kiffin still needs developing. Like Altmeyer he will get it elsewhere.

Not sure Ole Miss should make the claim (I’ve seen no evidence that we have). Everyone of us knew Lane was tampering against the rules while he was at Ole Miss. Lane needs the portal. He hasn’t developed a QB yet. All have been leftovers or transfers. Simmons was his and the kid threw more interceptions than TDs. Altmeyer was his and he transferred out to get developed at Illinois.
I really think yall should have that swamp water you drink checked by real Engineers from Ole Miss or State.
“Real Tomato Ketchup Eddie?”
And it felt that way in the Bama game. I don’t think there was a flag in the first half. Missing a penalty is just as bad as inventing one. Bad calls on both Georgia and Ole Miss. However bad missed calls on both sides as well. Who really knows how many?

And don’t forget we only see what TV shows. The list of penalties can be endless from defensive holding to hands to the face and what applies when. Never be perfect but it does feel like it can be improved.
I think Lane has adapted ahead of most anyone else in the new environment of NIL and portal. He was given every dollar he asked for to put it to use. He even had personal use of a private jet.

He also has a great eye for offensive talent. I don’t buy into the whole QB genius thing. He didnt develop a QB at Ole Miss. Matt Corral he inherited. Transfered all others. But I will say his eye for talent can’t be debated on the receivers he transferred in as well as QBs. His getting Judkins at the high school level was impressive. The kid was a 3 star that no one noticed. He did. And Judkins was awesome. He fit in great at Ole Miss when he didnt at USC or Tennessee. We will see with LSU.
But if you’re a coach what do you teach these kids about pass interference, holding and targeting? Even at times face mask? It all feels arbitrary. Im not talking about bias against certain teams but more about inconsistency. It’s always more noticeable in close games. But it is every game.

This will be talked about again in the off-season but the NCAA needs to mandate full time refs. Educated and consistent. At least as much as possible.

Classy response. I was surprised that we came back in the 2nd half. I will say how the game was handled by the refs was awful. We’ve all discussed it here but college football has a ton of money involved. Full time, educated refs are needed now. Too many awful calls and no calls.
While this guy has lived the easy life off his Mommy and Daddy. Let’s start there and confiscate their wealth. Then see how “all in” this lying POS is.

Every section of the AP is a joke full of idiots. Just Democrat mouthpieces.
“Brian Kelly is awesome! Yall are all scared and fricked!”
“We aren’t paying off Brian Kelly…he’s a POS”
“Lane Kiffin sucks and has never won a thing”
“Lane Kiffin will solve all our problems”
“Yall are scared and fricked”

You guys might be missing that it’s not coaches. It’s you. Brian Kelly had some 10 win seasons on his resume before arriving in shithole crime USA. Didnt matter.

How in the world does one eat a lizard? I’ve been around many educated, intelligent Auburn people. They’ve never once spoken about this delicacy.

You just can’t trust that danged Putin! He knew what he was doing. I’d start my infiltration with Auburn as well. Clever fellow. We’ll all be on our guard.
