In that thread, someone does post a link to a transgender Blackhawk pilot.
Just an observation- I listened to the various radio communications between the tower, the helicopter and the airliner. I never heard a female voice.
Then the story came out that there was a female piloting the Blackhawk. I found it weird, as she (unnamed) was stated to be the actual pilot, but it's not a female voice responding to the tower.
And it's getting a bit weird that her name and likeness hasn't been released. We've seen the other 2 on the Blackhawk, the entire crew of the airliner, and a bunch of the passengers. Including several kids with the parents. But still nothing on the actual pilot of the Blackhawk.
Like you said, maybe there's a reason was so pissed off.

Exactly. This is another reason when ppl say trans are joining the military it’s not really plausible it’s more so they do it after they get in because any of those meds would disqualify them for enlistment. I guess they can identify but even still when I was a recruiter that would’ve been a psych eval and now days genesis pulls all med records. The ones who take advantage or do this should be charged with fraudulent enlistment.

I'm just going off what I've heard several aviation experts/ pilots saying about the scenario. One plane was coming in, another was taking off. The tower reportedly made mention to the Blackhawk to be aware of one of them, and confusion ensued.
At least, that's how it's been described. I don't know.

I'd bet that's true... He *always* sounds a bit crazy at first, but is seemingly ALWAYS right.

Well the jet was only doing140-150 at time of impact and the helicopter would have been doing 100+.
Germans would ram b17s. Purposely crashing into another plane is very doable. You have to remember this is a jet. It wouldn’t be impossible to spot something that large moving relatively slow for landing and line up an impact.
Hope this is just conspiracy though. That would be terrible.

So the chopper was off 100ft in elevation and a half mile off the approved route.
For an approved route, that seems way too close to an airport when you have aircraft moving 200mph. You can close that gap in a heartbeat.
They need to revisit that approved route. People are going to make mistakes. Need a much bigger margin for error.

The plane wasn't going 300 mph. They were only 2,000 feet from the runway. The plane and the chopper were both going a relative speed of around 150 mph.

It will be interesting to see how the trans/military thing ends up shaking out- I feel like I have been taking crazy pills the last four years!

That doesn't explain the helicopter going from 200 ft (max by law) to 400 ft in the last 10 seconds as they approached the plane.
If they had the planes mixed up that would explain not moving left or right but does not explain the elevation gain.
Any ideas?

For those who are pilots and would know- who would respond to the tower over the radio? The actual Blackhawk pilot, or the instructor? Because like I said, I didn't hear a female voice on those recordings. Which is why the statement of the Blackhawk pilot being female struck me as odd. I would assume that the one responding would be the one on the controls, but again I don't know.
