He needs to do virtual events. It would be amazing to see millions tuning in to see him. If he can go through this with dragon energy I think it helps, if he gets sickly with it there is a real danger.

I sure as hell won't let a positive covid test convince me to take the road to a single-party system that leads to naked Marxism.
F**k them and anyone who thinks that's a good idea fior this country.

Masks are not 100% effective at preventing transmission.

This is an airborne virus and you are breathing the same air when sharing the same space with someone else.

Cheating is the only thing that will have a negative impact on Trump’s chances. He’s winning the electoral vote hands down in the legitimate portion of the election

His opponent actually is campaigning, but by proxy; the media is doing it FOR him.

It will depend how fast he recovers.

A rapid recovery, using current therapeutics, will bolster the people's feeling on COVID and it's overall danger (or lack of it).

No change in chances. Everyone has pretty much made up their minds. It's not about the masks, I hate them, but it's about the in your face authoritarianism of the Democrats.

You to believe optics (which is what I’m actually talking about) are irrelevant. In politics of all things.

And that is truly naive. This is the same guy who’s been downplaying it for months and undermining health officials.

At this point all we can do is hope future President Biden gets it as well.

If he recovers the he will then be immune which is a massive plus for him

Biden will be vulnerable as an old guy with questionable health.

Who would you rather running your country, the guy that is immune from Covid or the old guy that’s afraid to go out of his house because he’s so vulnerable?

This entirely depends on trumps immune system. If this is a boring, mild course, he will win.

If gets severely ill, the left will use it as ammo to show how bad covid19 is and prove to us all we have to stay shut down forever.

Bingo

If he’s looking healthy within a week, it’s over for Biden.

Media can’t play it hard right now because if they make it seem like Trump just got a death sentence and he comes out fine then his legend grows and if they tell the truth about covid not being a serious illness then their game is up.

Any person who the media can convince to Not vote for Trump was convinced 5 years ago.

Nothing is going to change the minds of those who will vote for Trump.

There isn’t much upside to coming down with a virus you blew off and downplayed for months.

The “see it’s not so bad” route might work on a few people. But 207k deaths make it hard to play that card.

I haven't seen Trump take this route, if that's the insinuation. I've heard him talk about people he knows who have died from it, etc etc. Now, there's other conversation to be had wherein people can debate the response(s), but as for the particular insinuation above, I don't find that to be accurate. JMO of course.

*It should also be noted that yes he's probably revised his outlook on it over time, as many notable people have.
