Then she pissed in her cornflakes and said she didn’t pick him because he’s gay.

So she turned right around and picked a fruit that acts gayer than the gay guy.

You just can’t make this up…

Kamal admitted she didn't choose Pete because he was gay so she discriminated against him because he is a fig.

So the DEI is fine unless it effects you, typical democrat.

It's only a myth that I don't admit when I am wrong.

I thought they would learn the lesson after the election (because it was plain as day) and was wrong about that.

even if they learn the lesson, how can they logically move back to the center? what would that even look like? they'd have to completely backtrack on the last 15-20 years of their messaging.

You have to think the DNC will at minimum APPEAR to move to the center for the next Pres election right?

Everything i've seen, they are moving even harder left. Eventually, the Democrat party will become a declared terrorist organization with their push towards hardcore violent authoritarianism.

Haven’t read through the thread but they can’t go toward the center because they’ll alienate the nut jobs and they have to have the nut jobs to have a shot at winning

They have only doubled down on Hitler, dictator, the funeral was a Nazi rally, denying any accountability.

They won't learn a lesson. The Left is incapable of it.

Arrests need to happen for the people funding left-wing violence, and these rent-a-protest groups.

Do the Bill Clinton playbook and focus on the economy.

The country isn't as socially conservative as MAGA, either. Now, they've had too many cycles of leftist culture and have gone too far (and the country isn't down with that), but their natural position is closer to the median American than the religious right that we see flaring up lately.

Naw. Mainly only the expansion since 2020, when they got an extra cultural cycle they shouldn't have (which is how they ended up so absurdly far left in 2024 and got routed).

See this isn't correct.

Ignoring how party-loyal the left is, the farthest left types you see are in urban areas, which will elect their AOCs and remain DSA/DEM fringe groups.

If we had a national Parliamentary system, I would agree with you. However, our federal, decentralized SMD-based system can marginalize the fringe-extremes.

bullshite.

The fact that you'd like that to be true doesn't mean that it is.

The party elites will be selecting their presidential nominee......again. Their unhinged voter base would nominate a hardline communist and the DNC isn't going to allow that. Not that they aren't hardline communists themselves, but they're pragmatic enough to nominate someone that actually has a chance of winning the general election.

I doubt they'll move to the right of center. Given the type of people we're seeing swirling around the democrat party today, I'm thinking they'll swing even further left. They k*illing their political opponents. Not good.

But I'm really encouraged by the young people embracing conservative policy and values. I mean, with the imbecilic nonsense of some of these people, people are simply saying,"Enough, I've seen enough".

We dodged the bullet with Kamala and Tampon Tim.

It’s a very interesting dynamic in politics right now. The right is in an interesting spot where if they go further right they seem to be getting stronger whereas for the left if they want to survive they are going to have to go to the middle. If they go any further radical left it’s done for them I think.

The Charlie Kirk assassination really magnified this. Give it a year and the left will be cursing Tyler Robsinson’s name for the spot he’s put them in. They are already doing it by desperately trying to spin this guy as a right wing psycho. People smell that for what it is, shite. The left let the spoiled “kids” call the shots for the last ten years and it’s coming back to bite them in a profound way.

Put it this way, the right is coming together right now stronger than I’ve ever seen in my 31 years of living from a strong political figure being assassinated who believed in Christ and wanted real change in the world for the better. The left is coming together for a fired TV host who wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire. Tells you all you need to know imo.

No stances on things like abortion, gay marriage, etc are much more center-left than far right.

Farther left. They can’t afford to lose their loony base.

Much of the gains Trump's GOP has had are due to 2 things

1. Populist-based, leftist economics (has really helped in places like the Rust Belt and other union areas)

2. The DEMs getting an extra cycle and going way too far left socially (the trans stuff is the go-to example)
