Well, looking at your retarded fricking worldview I would say capitalism didn't kill enough.
Be thankful you (presumably) live in a country where you can say shite like this without being forced into concentration camps like they still do to this fricking day in China, you stupid fricker.

I feel like the Great Leap Forward “famine” probably killed all the people on Chinese food stamps and the people that went to work every day did fine

And this is to be celebrated by retards like the OP.

China didn't really begin aligning with the modern world until Western Capitalists moved their manufacturing there in the late 20th Century. Why did they move it there? Cheap labor and cheap regulatory expenses.
My company built a plant there around 2003. Workers were paid $50/month plus room and board. It was cheaper to put a men in the plant with radios than installing automatic valves .

I’m getting the impression you wouldn’t recognize the real truth if it smacked you between the eyes.
You definitely have your “truth” though. Your indoctrination was well done by your educators.

Your parents would be ashamed of your lack of logic. You have brought dishonor to your family.
Japan was heavily responsible for China failing to form a nation in the 1930s.
Someone could have formed said nation once Japan was gone.
Once the civil war was over, they could have avoided Mao's great leap forward, heck Mao could have avoided it.
It was an egotistical attempt to make something work that was never going to work.
China is lucky Deng took over.

Current United States is not. Why would we consider a communist government?

It was literally a great reset to get the country aligned with the modern world. Millions died, but people died and suffered for countries to industrialize too.
China opening up to capitalism is what modernized China…. Not the Great Leap Forward.
The Great Leap Forward was an absolute colossal failure thats only redeeming quality was that it forced the leadership into opening up to capitalism.
Without international capitalism China would have collapsed decades ago.

You can align with the modern world without killing millions. It was central planning gone wrong, they ordered farmers to convert to industry in order to industrialize and it created a massive famine. There was so much incredibly stupid policy there’s no way you call that anything but a failure.
Especially when a nation like the U.S. with capitalism not only led the world in industrialization and innovation we also lead the world in agriculture, growing far more than we consume. All without central planning. It’s almost like if you let people pursue their dreams and utilize their talents in order to produce things to fill a demand and earn a profit that society will advance and modernize and create wealth.

How many people died for capitalism again?
None.
What you are really talking about is centralization vs decentralization and the thing about decentralization is it doesn't affect everyone by it's very nature because everyone is independent.

We had a literal fricking civil war
You realize that Russia and China both had civil wars and is how they became communist, right?
Despite the 10s of millions of their citizens dying in their quest for pure communism, both countries, including China is very capitalistic. That’s all you need to know to figure out which system is better.
