Why is Killing Babies So Important to the Left?

It is all about hedonism and lack of responsibility.

They want to frick like rabbits and not have to take care of the litters that result from it.

Especially since it looks like 50% of their support comes from transgender (mentally ill) people that can’t have babies anyway. I know that the trans are a small amount of their base but since they are the loudest, and most ignorant, they seem to be their largest. How does that not turn normal people off?

Money and funding... there is money to be made. Not much more to it than that.

Theres a libertarian argument against a govt mandating all people carry every pregnancy to term.

Their basis of evil.

If babies aren't available they have to go with chickens, and those don't satisfy the dark lord as much.

In a nutshell, you're absolutely right.

While I think the practice of abortion is despicable, outlawing it is FAR down my list of political concerns. But I will NEVER understand why some on the left hold this practice out as sacrosanct.

I disagree with having truly open borders, but I can understand the moral argument from the otherside. I COMPLETELY disagree with Socialism, but I can at least understand the logic (albeit failed) behind the premise.

But ending another life, however early in the life cycle it may be, simply because you want to live a life free of any responsibility is disgusting and I can't imagine making that the cornerstone of my political identity

From a moral stand point the opposition comes from the fact that one adult is choosing to terminate the life of another human being (again, however early in the life cycle it may be). The potentially viable fetus has not say in its own life.

I hate to say it, but I think that's probably to some degree why I'm not ardent in trying to end the practice. If the mother is willing to abort the child early on, there is a good (but not always) chance that same mother won't fully accept the responsibility of caring for the child once it is born. Then society is left to care for/deal with children whose parents don't want or care about them.
