I think it's both of these things

The problem is that it comes at our expense, and it locks us out.

They have one of the lowest divorce rates in the world.

And they hustle their asses off.

Eh Asians (South and East) are normally excluded from DEI initiatives as they are “white adjacent”

The answer is the same variable that is always strongest associated with success - a stable family unit that prioritizes education

Poor information: Custer didn't know the true size of the Sioux army or that they were armed with repeating rifles.

Arrogance: Custer was overconfident and wanted the victory to help his political ambitions.

Ignoring advice: Custer ignored the advice of his Crow scouts to wait for reinforcements.

Force-marching: Custer's troops and horses were tired after a long march through the Wolf Mountains.

Dividing his forces: Custer divided his troops into three battalions, which weakened his forces.

Unexpected attack: The Sioux outmaneuvered and surrounded Custer's forces

Part this and part strong and unapologetic in-group preference. Sort of like another very successful minority group in the US.

I've had some terrific Indian friends and I ask them: 'So, is the stereotype true that Indians will cheat you in business?'
They all laugh and say "Yes. If you tell them the price is $50 they will say: 'I tell you what I will do.....' And you better watch out."

Easy: The importance of family and education in that culture. Anyone who values these things will almost certainly succeed. And those who don’t? Well we’ve seen how that turns out.

Huge advantage with casinos. Other than that I wouldn't say they are doing particularly well.

Once they get into a leadership position they ruthlessly promote and select people from their group.

Right, I forgot to list nepotism.

Yes, the parallels between Indian immigrants and Jewish Americans are hard to ignore.

The average IQ in India is 76. Canada is being flooded with the 76 IQ Indians.

Canada is falling apart.

Yes

Our western ideas about honesty and fair dealing are very abnormal globally. And this is really dangerous for us now because if you allow large number of foreigners into our countries, people who operate under a paradigm where cheating and nepotism are normal, they will abuse the system for their own benefit.

And it’s not to say that our belief in honesty and fairness was wrong, it explains how we were able to build complex civilizations, but it’s also a vulnerability

They have very favorable privilege on getting work visas here. It's not just them though, it's also Chinese and other east Asians who Americans somehow buy into the myth they're more intelligent than Americans.

I'd like to see these visas at least get cut in half or even down 2/3's and those jobs given to Americans.

To be fair, at least in the tech industry they 1) know their shite. 2) They work every possible angle....check out job boards, they will flood them....same guy lives in 12 locales. 3) They are excellent bargainers. 4) They tend to help out other Indian types.

If they are getting welfare, it's not for long. They exploit the H1B system though. One thing I found was that they don't use health insurance that much no medicaid ...but overall they tend to be very healthy and they dominate in tech
