It is more complicated than just not wanting people from Gaza. you think the Arab nations will just let Israel ethnically cleanse Gaza? Israel having less terrorists to deal with is not a good thing for the Islamic world.
having less Palestinians in the region means Israel is closer to gaining full control of Temple Mount. meaning the Hadjis will lose one of their most holiest sites Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Yep the Jordanians had to fight the Palestinians back in 1970-71 . They took in a lot of Palestinians in the wake of the 1967 war.
The Palestinians thanked the Jordanians by trying to overthrow Hussein back then. Jordan crushed the rebellion and essentially expelled them to Lebanon....where they then helped to start a civil war there.
There is no great love for the Palestinians by the Jordanians. Look up Black September.

What is a holy site? By what terms or scripture?
