You also conveniently leave out the number of times cops pull their guns and never have to shoot. I saw one statistic that said only 27% of cops ever fire in the line of duty, but I'm sure close to 100% have drawn their weapon at one point.

Please provide them. It'll at least make this silly discussion and talking point less one-sided. Bhamadore kinda brought all the info on it earlier.

Percent means per 100. Its used for perspective on large numbers since only 48 were killed why use per 100.

Provide what? Proof that my black friends and coworkers tell me these things? You want me to out my city that has statistics that Over 70% of police reports are filed by blacks?
That Trump has caused all this great success economically to minorities. Little things like the black life span going up for the first time in years, helping black business owners, freedom zones in minority areas, and under his direction released more blacks from prison that’s any other time in history?

Probation and Parole Officer here. I’ve done this 31 years with two careers both Federal and State. I’m proud of what I do and the service it brings to our communities. I can’t just walk away and let things go to shite. Somebody will have to pick up my slack. The work doesn’t just stop if I don’t come in to do my job.
My office has had two officers just quit and one transfer this month. Younger officers are scared and they’re bailing out faster than we can replace them.
This is a crisis like I’ve never before seen. We desperately need people to start supporting us.
My heart breaks for those Deputies in LA County. One is a 31 year old woman and mother.

Police draw weapons because they are trained to be afraid of their own shadows. Cop pulled a gun on me in college during a traffic stop for rolling a stop sign. I was 19 and didn't know how scary cops were at the time.
When I gave my license and insurance. I gave an expired policy by mistake. I got out to go give the new one to the cop and I ended up on the ground with a gun drawn on me.
Had to listen to some scared fig copsplain for 10 mins why he is a scared bitch.

Came out of my office building with a gun after checking an alarm. Cop didn’t pull his gun and I complied with his orders.
