Public employees going on strike is disgusting. It should be banned.
Public employee UNIONS should ALL repeat ALL should not even exist. Not one!!!!!!!

Getting rid of police unions would go a long way towards fixing the problem

Your parents must be real pieces of shite to raise a damn worthless slug like you.

It might help with an actual problem. It will not address your imaginary problem of police shooting blacks with no provocation.

It would give the ability to leadership in the force to remove bad actors. Should be an easy win for most you'd think other than the police unions making huge donations to the political game.

You continue to show your arse in every thread smh
Ask the two injured cops how easy the job is.

It's one small incident. This is not an overall theme for policing. These incidents are very rare

Police unions and individual police officers have given less money total since 1994 than Bloomberg will spend in Florida on Biden. ($10M versus $100M)

Do you have any other unfounded nonsense you would like to posit with zero facts?
I do agree that there could be some reform in retention and hiring practices. But it’s a problem that’s highlighted by social media and it’s not as systemic as we’re being told.

So like cops shooting unarmed blacks.

How often do you interact with police in your daily life? I find most people don't need or use their direct services regularly.
I'm told all the time on here that you must arm yourself and can't count on the police to save you during a crime. Why is it crazy to think 2 week vacation from them won't mean shite?
Posted on 9/13/20 at 12:36 pm to oklahogjr
Wait, you think that because YOU don’t need and rely on the police regularly that the police aren’t needed regularly? You think they don’t get called every fricking day? Where the frick do you live?

. These statistics you use to make a point actually support the opposite.
How when there are 800,000+ LEOs and they all make thousands of contacts with civilians every year? That's probably a 100,000,000+ contacts with civilians and only 44 ended with an officer being killed by firearm.
Why are officers so afraid for their lives when civilians rarely kill cops.
Stats just don't justify the fear.
The odds are, you are more likely to die by lightning strike.
Lightning strike kills 49 people on average in the US.
Its not that dangerous of a job. Not even in top 20 of most hazardous jobs in the US.
I'm 32 and have never once called the police ever in my life. I've never been in a dispute I couldn't solve myself or have a non government agent mediate.

Sure they do and most of it is about nothing. Just because you saw the worst of the worst of their day on the news doesn't mean there aren't thousands more who didn't even leave the station that day and were in no danger or even remotely involved with anything dangerous

So what’s your fricking point? Go live somewhere with no law enforcement. I doubt you’ll be missed.

My point is that they'd be striking if their jobs were actually dangerous. Making a police officers salary isn't really enough to be playing john mcclain everyday.

This is correct. Now apply the same analysis to the BLM’s fear of police interactions.
