Why do we need to retrieve enriched uranium that the Iranians can’t even get to?

The enriched uranium thing is being used to save face. Midnight Hammer already took it out of play, or at least for the foreseeable future. If Iran ever tried to retrieve it, we would see it from a mile away and could always drop another bomb.
Epic Fury was not about the enriched uranium. It was an attempt to overthrow the regime, but since that failed and backfired on us, we’re going to make it about nuclear weapons again.
Anyways, can’t wait for this conflict to be over so we can focus on America First things again.

I'd rather make every effort imaginable to get it rather than just assume that they won't make efforts to retrieve it. They can start digging tunnels very far from where it is located to go find it and we'd likely not know or even if we did know it was happening it would be impossible to prove because they wouldn't allow anyone not allied with them into the country to prove it.

This is what it boils down to, imo.
The US got into this thing relying on the pipe-dream that somehow the Iranian people would "rise up," which did not happen.
How many wars has the US gotten into with the expectation that "the people will 'rise up' and they never do?

Probably to keep someone else (Iranian or other force) from getting said enriched uranium. I think it's probably a good idea to get our hands on it

We do not know where the uranium is. You can bet your arse most of it was not left in a targetable area. Iran has just under 1000lbs of enriched uranium. That amounts to about 0.85 cubic feet. It could literally be anywhere in the country.

Iran can’t get to so they say. Even if they are telling the truth it may not always be that way. At some point in the future they could figure it out. Rest assured if it’s left they would scheme day and night to figure a way to get to it.
Intelligence Agencies are run and staffed by people. People are imperfect and can make mistakes or miss something. The Mossad isn’t a bunch of chumps.They are damn good at what they do. They totally missed Oct 7. The USA has something like 17 intel agencies. Somehow all those agencies missed 9/11. Technology is great and can certainly help sure up the cracks in any intelligence agency or military. Tech is not fool proof though. Hitler managed to hid a whole arms industry to rebuild the German Army before WW2. Until he marched troops into the Rheinland and reclaimed it from Britain and France I don’t know if anyone had a clue. We can’t just assume technology will catch every possible threat.

Trying way waay waaay too hard to find things to challenge in this situation. Ok so I suppose the simple answer is one of their “allies” would likely help them retrieve it, and presumably would have the capability. I’d be surprised if this hasn’t already been said a number of times, which also would not surprise me, because it seems like such a blatantly obvious and easy answer.

Are you serious,right now? When it comes to a radical islamic country that has vowed to wipe out a whole nation (Israel) there is NO wiggle room here.
Those centrifuges Iran purchased with that Obama and Biden "give'um what they want" money allowed Iran to bring their enriched uranium to 60% of weapons grade (it needs to be 90% purity for weapons grade). Early on in hostilites we heard reports Iran admitted they had enough to make ten nuclear bombs. THAT is ten too many.
Plus, Iran missile capability was making great progress. Were you paying attention when we saw video of Iranian hypersonic missiles crashing into Tel Aviv? Or were you distracted by MSM efforts to turn attention away from the real Iran nuclear threat?
They have an operational Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles (IRBM). How do we know that? If you had been paying attention you would have learned they fired two of their IRBM towards Europe. Fortunately one failed in flight and the other one was shot down by American Anti-ballistic Missile Defense System stationed in Europe.
President Trump has done the right thing.
