Moreover, the Russians' ultimate goal is to weaken the U.S. One of their methods is to promote discord among American by setting one group of Americans against the other.
They want Americans to be too busy fighting among themselves to appreciate what the Russians are doing and/or to present a unified front to counteract it.
How is it working so far?

Russia has has already infiltrated this country and even have infiltrated the State Dept. and our intel community in the past. They have also infiltrated the European countries and have been for decades now. We do the same thing to them and countless of other countries. Hell, Obama spied on our allies...you know this right?
