Just curious.

Because of “rules for thee, but not for me”…..Congress is exempt from standard insider trading laws!

Well Ray Epps and Alec Baldwin remain free as birds as well. Some justice is more blind for some than others.

Did she go to jail for insider trading or for misspeaking to the FBI about insider trading? I can't keep up.

Because way back when Diane Feinstein (I think it was her) introduced and got legislation passed that basically made insider training legal for members of Congress.
They have exempted themselves from the rules that apply to average scum like you and me.

I think what Chryso is saying is Congress is "exempt" from insider trading laws, not exempt. There's a difference.

Because dc politicians and high end gov employees are royalty. They are above the law.
The law is only for us peasants, who have no gov power, to worry about.

What Pelosi has done does not meet the legal definition of insider trading.

because we are no longer a nation of laws

Martha was interviewed under Oath by the FBI, and lied. She was likely ashamed to admit doing what they all do up there. Nancy has no shame. She will gaslight Cities before admitting personal corruption. She thinks all people should be engage in the "free market"; nws that she gets the stock market info even before the Stock Market does.
Her day of reckoning is coming; if not in this life, then the next. When or if a REAL *insurrection* comes, she will be toast. Won't be alone either.

They should be banned from trading based on nonpublic policy info, but I don’t think Pelosi has ever committed insider trading as a corporate insider, unlike Stewart.
Pelosi has committed ethics violations along with multiple members of Congress, but it’s apples and oranges.

quote:Same reason as to why I have to pay into Social Security, but members of Congress don't. They always put in a carve out for themselves, when they pass laws that affect me and you. Vax mandate, Obamacare, there a tons of examples.

Martha didn't know where the bodies are buried.

Law allows her.....no, really, the law allows her to get a taste on IPOs before you and I would....and it's all legal.

Rules for thee, not for me
Our elected elite make all rules in their favor. The government is little more than a money laundering scheme at this point
