You want to know the real reason? Trump wouldn’t choose Mace because he endorsed her opponent in another election. He wouldn’t endorse Ralph Norman because Norman disagreed with him one time back in the day and Trump had to get revenge.

Because all it took to earn a Trump endorsement is to promise you will never question any decision he makes.

She was mistake. Donald Trumps loyalty to his friends is his achilles heel.
But to be honest, SC always have shitty candidates. They probably couldn't find anyone better.

I agree she was a lousy candidate but better candidates than her also lost yesterday so theres no guarantee it would have mattered.

Gowdy mentioned this last night. I forget who the other primary guy was, but he said he would've lost as well. So it may not be just Darline?

Pushing her was stupid.
HER choice to take it on (outside of the brief fill in after her brother died) was even stupider.
It made no sense why she would choose to do that, when she all but admitted pretty early on that she didn't have any interest in a lot of what surrounded the political scene.
