Someone who never takes accountability and responsibility for anything, it's always someone else's fault. Basically your posts over the last 4 years where the buck never stops with Potato's actions, it's always the fault of Trump from 4 years ago.

Shrub, you have developed HHTM levels of TDS. You should see a Dr. about it. It’s really cult like the way you TDS sufferers behave.

Well therein lies the rub.

That's also why these societal shifts are not purely linear, because it's a series of 2 steps forward, 1 step back, 1 step forward, 2 steps back, over and over again.

Exactly.

It takes a bit of arrogance to say "well we have hit peak humanity. STOP TRYING TO IMPROVE THINGS"

"Liberalism" in its true sense is fine. What we are seeing is not that.

Does it take more or less arrogance to look at a formula that's worked for hundred of years and think men pretending to be women is what it needs to improve?

Independents/uncommitted outnumber Republicans or Democrats, so its fair to say much of our population feels like they're not represented well in the current system.

Did we think generations of liberal education in public schools
and universities, plus years of liberal indoctrination from social media and news media would never show up in voting patterns?

I remember the GOP line that most lapped up! Remember this one "They will be liberal until they enter the real world and get taxed and then they will become conservative"

Remember? I have seen it used here.

Yes.

As I said, this is a constant back and forth with both sides reaching too far, leading to a reaction in the opposite way.

And you're wrong. One side wants to stick to a formula that clearly works. That doesn't mean they believe it's perfect, but they're much more cautious about wholesale changes and rightfully so. You can keep trying to equate them to the side that wants to ignore human nature and history but you'll keep being wrong.

Progressivism is like a cloud of locusts. They think everything needs fixing and they strip it bare in the process.

Its utopian nonsense. Creating a pseudo religion out of being a moral busybody.

Which is why liberalism is described as societal cancer.
