Harris will definitely need to appear to be much more capable in order to drive the turnout the Democrats need. The border fiasco hurts her for sure.

Debate performance could give her a boost. She will also articulate how the GOP Congress voted against border security bills better than Biden would.

But is it 100% certain that she is going to be the nominee?

Anyone who is saying that is a fool. I hope Trump wins but I do not expect him to win. Reason being - the Dems have the infrastructure. They have it all down to an art. Trump will have to win all the red states he can and then hope that a few toss-up states haven't already been infiltrated with their machines.

It's going to come down to the wire and then some.

Hoping against hope is my guess.

Does it matter? Her voter base is not intelligent. Blacks will vote for her because she looks black. The feminist women and men who want to be women will vote for her. The dems had this planned all along because they know Biden couldn’t beat Trump.

She will get a boost after the DNC and now rumors of Biden stepping down and her getting 4 months of Presidential experience

I don't think this will happen. It's easier to campaign if you don't have to actually perform the job of President while you do it.

If the Democrats want to use gamesmanship to help Harris, Biden will step down a week or two before election day, not soon. That would give her a positive boost from BECOMING president, without there being time to have anything negative to happen BECAUSE she was president. Even if something negative occurs, if she's only been at the helm for a week it would be layed at the feet of Biden.

She will get the Democrat loyalists like every other Democrat nominee. She will not get any appreciable Republican vote. Which leaves the mushy middle. They will see she is uniquely unlikeable and vapid and a CONTINUATION of Biden. I can think of no white lady candidate for instance, who is as similarly vapid. When she speaks, it's entirely cliched and also clearly not authentically from a strong and authentic point of view. She's phony and this election is all about people waking up from the phoniness. So, knowing "landslides" are a thing of the past due to electoral reality, it will be a "resounding defeat". As for the likelihood of a stolen election, it's the Professional Left, so anything is possible.

I doubt she's completely won them over, presently. Michael Bloomberg hasn't endorsed her, for example- saying it's too important of an issue to make a quick decision.

But the campaign money is a huge reason why she'll probably end up being the nominee....She's the only one who can use most of what they've raised, prior this weekend without breaking the rules. ( )

Wait till the debate. She can’t help but talk circles around herself

Trump isn’t great at communicating his points/ideas well in a debate, either.

I don't think the race will be a "landslide" however. Too many are too far gone in this country regardless.

A lesson from The Bell Curve applies here. We only associate with our fifth of the 5 IQ sections. Most here are level 4 (smart). Those who are 5 we consider the brighter posters and those at level 3 we consider stupid. Actually, level 3 is average. We never encounter level 2 (really stupid) and there are LOTS of them out there. They vote.
There is also the issue of 'fitting in.' This is especially strong with women. If 80% of their environment is liberal people then they become liberal. Men are a little less likely to follow the crowd. Especially Sigma males who don't care if everyone on the planet disagrees with him as long as he is convinced he's right.

As for landslide... I'm sticking with my prediction that there will be no decision on election day. It will take weeks to go through all the court challenges

Black? Ok blacks will vote for her

Normally, yes. For her? Not so much.

After Biden's shite performance in the debate, Harris' polling numbers actually went DOWN. The latest AJC poll has Trump beating Harris 50.5% to 45.9% overall, but the real key (which wasn't really measured) is voter apathy/excitement.

During the 2020 party primary she couldn't carry her own state and failed with women, blacks and black women (apparently black women saw her as getting where she was only by sleeping her way into the position). Those things voters didn't like back then not only haven't changed but we've seen even more from her to underscore her unlikability/unrelatability. At best, she will have people voting not for her, per se, but for "someone black/woman/black-woman/not-Trump/etc".

Conversely, Trump held a strong convention and is looking like a war hero who has been the victim of a political persecution via retributive lawsuits solely because he dared to run for President. People are excited about voting for him whether it's because they liked what he did in his prior run, they see voting for him as fighting against an unjust lawfare environment (that maybe they too feel victimized by) or some other reason.

Anyone over the age of 12 should recognize by now that she- along with the powerful dems who just sacked him- have been 100% lying about Joe Biden's condition. They've spent several years telling everyone not to trust their own eyes- trust them.

There is NO WAY those same people will hand over full control to Kamala Harris should she somehow win this election. The country can expect more of the same- and perhaps worse.

The "party of democracy" just pulled off a coup within their own ranks. The problem is they now must sell Kamala Harris- who was rejected in the last race before halftime.

Get ready for lots of abortion speeches and inappropriate giggling.
