I'm betting it will be Mexico over the U.S.
When a Dem is President in 2020 (let's say Mitch Landrieu) the Mexican military will launch an invasion by faking a southern border attack with the Mexican Army and the Mexican Marines.
But the real strike will be the California coastline with the Mexican Navy. Their submarines will sink all of our ships based in San Diego while the Mexican Air Force bombs Sacramento. They will not attack Los Angeles since it's already part of Mexico.
They will also have the advantage of 20 Million spies living in the US who have been lifelong supporters of Reconquista.
These spies will communicate over the airwaves in Spanish with heavy Aztec accents that we cannot decipher.
President Landrieu will sue for peace by giving them California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. Landrieu will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Well, if you speak of actual war, it's not likely China wants to obliterate the market for much of it's products, nor destroy billions upon billions of dollars in assets it's citizens and govt owns here in the US. So if using force, they will need to find a way to remove our military power without damaging what they've invested in the US.
